Analysis & Idea Generation
We support our clients in refining their requirements and identifying potential early on – even without a completed specification. Using methods such as design thinking, feasibility studies, and rapid prototyping, we identify and validate technical and economic risks early on and create a solid foundation for further development.
Conceptual Design
Based on the analysis, initial concepts are developed, evaluated, and prioritized according to requirements and feasibility. A structured requirements engineering process and targeted risk management ensure a sound basis for decision-making in the next phase.
Detail Design
In this phase, the selected concepts undergo precise development – from 3D CAD design and electrical schematics to PCB layouts and software programming. Simulations and tests ensure functionality, safety, and a seamless transition to prototype production.
Prototype Production & Testing
Our physical prototypes are created in our own workshop using modern manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing, machining, and CO₂ lasers. The prototypes are tested, verified, and optimized together with the customer to minimize risks and shorten time-to-market.
Serialization
Following successful completion of the prototype phase, industrialization begins. This involves creating manufacturing documentation, optimizing the supply chain, and ensuring compliance with standards such as CE conformity. The technical documentation is continuously updated and forms the basis for the necessary certifications and smooth series production.
Series Production
For series production, we work with a trusted international network of partners to ensure quality, efficiency and reliable delivery. kofatec manages technical coordination, quality assurance and documentation throughout the entire production process.
Operation & Lifecycle Support
Even after product launch, we support our customers with remote diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and regular updates. Through on-site support and training, we ensure that systems can be operated reliably and efficiently in the long term.
