From the kofatec idea to the company
In 2013, Adrian Koller founded kofatec in response to the growing challenges in automation and mechatronics. With his scientific background and international experience in biosystems engineering, aerospace engineering, and embedded systems, he focused from the outset – as a freelancer – on sound analysis, precise system development, and practical implementation.
Silvio Bossert joined the team in 2018. With his training in mechanical engineering and experience in product development and manufacturing, he added a strong industrial perspective. Together, they laid the foundation for Kofatec’s successful development. New projects, additional employees, larger facilities, and a strong network followed.
Today, we stand with a well-established team and a broad base of experience. We are ready to take on demanding challenges with agility, competence, and reliability – and to develop solutions that work and endure.
